Do y'all know the return policy in this? I just looked and I bought it 17 days ago. My Best Buy receipt says they have a 15 day return policy. Will this be handled by Best Buy or I will have to go through Sony. I hope it isn't overly complicated to exchange this

The exact same thing happened to mine. It is a power supply issue. The part the plug connects to in the back. They will replace it with a brand new one. I actually ended up with 4 controllers because all they require that you return to them is the console. No cords or accessories. I did lose Madden because it wouldn't power on to eject the disc but I got 4 controllers now
