I am interested in buying a 360 but know with the new console set to appear in the not to distance future that the prices will dramatically drop. When should I pull the trigger and what prices should I expect once the 720 is released?

Are you talking the 4 GB? I want the 250 GB. What's the difference between the 2? Better graphics? More storage?

Obviously there is more storage with the 250 and i dont blame you, screw a 4gb.

I think Best buy (90% sure) is offering the 4gb with Kinect, OR the 250gb without kinect.

Are the SFX the same with both GBs? I own all of the Nintendo systems and the original XBOX so I am pretty unfamiliar with these newer systems. Would I be content with a 4GB?

pretty sure its all the same, and both are HD. i personally wouldnt be content with a 4gb because i like to have digital copies of my games on my system. Not a big fan of the kinect, so Im very content with a bigger hard drive.

But if you are buying all your games on disc and you want a kinect, a 4gb isnt bad.

Have many digital games could I store on the 4gb? I have 5 or so on my Wii. Is the digital shop similar to Nintendo's with classic games? I am most interested in buying hard copies of games, however.

Each game is probably about 1gb of space. Some more some less

I downloaded super street fighter 4 and it alone was around 5+GB, so..4gb isn't that much space. 4gb is mostly for saving games and profile stuff.

im downloading a demo right now ( I Am Alive) that is 1.8gb

A price drop is likely closer to the next Xbox console release.

If you have a 4GB system, can you buy something to save to similar to the memory sticks for N64?

yeah, you can buy and add an external hard drive. Just be sure to get the right one made for the new xbox design.
