What is the best gaming monitor for console?

Finally got my man cave completed and would like to connect my xbox to a gaming monitor so I'm not playing on a big tv screen anymore. I've read playing on monitors help and I actually do remember being much better on a smaller screen I played on back in the day.
What are the best monitors to use with console? Max price I'd like to keep it around is $350.

I’d get one that’s 120+hz to future proof for next console, supposedly pushes 120fps. 1-2ms, then whatever size you like, I’m a 24 or 27 guy.
