i tend to get frustrated at first playing with randoms who suck.

then i switch to medic and just start rezzing them for points. makes it somewhat bearable.

nothing better than FINALLY pullin your act together and capping that final object.

the LAST STAND on Aracama bay is really tough to assault, had <10 tickets when me and my randoms finally capped that bitch, my crowning achievement until the LESI pwning we inflicted on everyone last night.

I caught on quickly. I like to think that Kay (of all people) showed me the light in heavy tanks during lunch one day and we fricked up a whole gaggle of people. I've been solid since that day. Mojo restored.

I've been using recon to throw out these sensors. I have no idea what they do but I guess they help in some way. I'm trying to level up my medic and recon. And what are these magnum bullets we speak of?

at lvl 15 u get the equivalent of the "stopping power" perk

and those motion balls can be really useful if recon classes actually used them appropriately

.ssshhhh, you will upset the regulars. they are HBS haters, but as you know when the opposing team gets tired of being dropped from 200 yards and come to find you, HBS is your best friend.

is it like one shot kill with sniper rifles?

my one complaint in the game is shooting someone with a .50 cal bullet in the chest and they keep running. when in real life they would have a hole the size of a basketball in them.

i like to throw the motion sensor balls right next to a capture point, so that the rest of the team can see the opposing team coming. i get plenty of assists that way.

If you are sniping you can throw them behind you or around you and when an enemy walks into the area where the balls at it shows up on your radar.

Ahh. I knew it had a purpose. I just didn't know what it was. I accidentally threw one on a tank this weekend while trying to C4.

haha, thats funny shite, similar to when i try to hop out a tank to do a quick-repair, only to accidently equip my RPG instead and blast it point blank into the side of the tank killing myself

I think these are some great tips:

I know that most people think "Sniper" instead of "Recon" when thinking about the recon class. And so now I REALLY wish DICE would provide a non-Ghillie Spec Ops character model for the recon class. Reason? I'm loving the recon class's abilities but don't want to be associated with brain dead "Sniper Rifle" players who don't fully use the recon class! (That's my new term to make the distinction between "Recon Players" and "Sniper Rifle Players".) "Recon Players" are as smart and effective as the best engineers and medics in supporting their team. "Sniper Rifle Players" are ineffectve KD farmers who eat up tickets and a team slot without providing a real benefit.

Seriously, the Recon class is amazing when combining the G3 or M14 and motion sensors. It's even more powerful if you have helpful assault players who keep your motion sensors stocked up. Some interesting points about motion sensors:

* They tag enemies as the travel through the air! So post up on an ammo box and spam motion sensors (throwing as far as you can) at various angles to serve as a sort of radar for your team.

* When you see an enemy vehicle turn from red to "neutral green" throw a motion sensor to detect the bailed out crew.

* When attacking throw motion sensors out front as you advance. You'll reveal hidden defenders thus making your safe arrival at the M-COM more likely.

* When attacking find a safe spot near an objective and throw a motion sensor before advancing to arm a charge. You'll ID hidden defenders and can kill them before arming the charge.

* Even if you're a little ways away from the C-COM throw a sensor as your teammates arm the charges...it will reveal threats to them and you can better support them with medium range G3 and M14 fire. I did this a lot last night and it was gratifying to see teammates respond rapidly and effectively to threats revealed by my sensors.

* When defending throw motion sensors at choke points and the M-COMs to keep your team informed.

* In support of the above MS placement is crucial...think about where enemies are mostly likely hiding or their most likely route of movement and place MSs there. Terrain must be considered when placing sensors

* You'd be surprised at how much XP you can score with Motion Sensor kill assists. Last night I received 3 such pins in one round (in addition to my own kills). They're very easy points for faster ranking up and they help your team tremendously.

* Use sensors and C4 to detect and kill enemies hiding in buildings...they'll never know what hit 'em!

not completely my game.

i would like to think i'm fairly beneficial to the team.

yes my k/d is always good. typically ~15-5, but at the same time i destroy 2-3 tanks a game, and get a ton of spot assists with my spotting scope.

i use my motion sensors to throw near a point for you guys.

and am learning what maps are useful to snipe on and which ones are not.
