I'm a little nervous about the change from the ultra-serious story in WD 1 to the more fun/loose story in this one, but the reviews have been good and I don't really care about the multiplayer so those issues don't bother me

Game is very fun. But I enjoyed the first one so. Lol.

I got to play for about 3 hours yesterday. I like the game so far. The first one felt like they put everything in the game in a way that you could easily solve the puzzles. The 2nd one does not feel that way so far.
I like the RC vehicles. The drone is pretty much a game breaker, but it's fun to use.
I'm a big fan of the map. It seems a little smaller than I expected. Seems smaller than the first one. Everything is just closer together.
I have to say, my favorite thing so far are the forklifts and lift trucks. Sitting in a lift truck and driving it with my laptop around enemies who can't see me is hilarious.
So far I would say the game is worth the buy. Since I actually do like the franchise a lot, I'm trying not to beat the main story too quickly. I want to do a lot of the side quests and random stuff on the phone apps as I go. I'd rather get 50+ hours out of this game that I paid $100 (gold edition) for than beat it in a quick 30 hours.
TLDR - Feels different than the first Watch Dogs. Not in a bad way. Takes a little time to get used to. If you like open world games and the hacker element, buy it.

Thank God. Tired of the "check out our 400 square miles of map" where you spend 20 minutes getting somewhere. Looking at you Mafia III and MGSV
Just got done with work for the week, gonna go pick this up and have fun. I liked the first one just screwing with everyone in the game world.

I played most of the day Yesterday. The main quest is pretty interesting. They did a good job with this game. I'd give it an 8/10 from what I've played so far. The missions are a little repetitive. Some of the perks are a little game breaking. Now I can just fly around with my drone and drop explosives on everyone.
I highly recommend turning the difficulty all the way up. I've been playing on realistic. All it really does is force me to avoid gun fights and do everything stealthy. Police chases are a little more challenging.
Excited to see how the story ends. Some of the perks are pretty awesome. I'm all about remote control and vehicle. Social hacking is pretty cool. You can send the cops or rival gangs after NPCs. The equipment upgrades are nice too. I didn't realize at first, but the explosives you drop from your drone or RC jumper are also upgraded from those perks.
They did a pretty damn good job with the bay area. It isn't perfect, but I'm impressed with the world in this game.
