this game is a walking simulator for me.
first game after the tutorial...
pilot crashes the heli. insta death.
get revived. insta death to a sniper.
wait 5+ minutes for a revive that never showed up.
went back to base. rebuilt my loadout.
drove an ATV back to where the action is. took about 5+ minutes to get there. got a kill.
walked into a building where i saw a guy.
looked right, looked left, shot and kill from a guy to my right, insta death.
shut down the game after that.

I refunded earlier. Its a cool concept with all the unlocks i guess, but really its just slow paced conquest having to wait 3-8 minutes between spawns to get back in the action. Game will fail from being too slow. Most intense game i had lasted over an hour and I only got to fight maybe 15 people. Snooze fest and if you get a good squad you win by 80 points.

Yea this game won’t be for everyone and that’s fine. The devs have even said as much. There’s going to be a lot of people going in to this thinking it’s like Battlefield when it’s much closer to a milsim experience like Arma, Squad, HLL.

It's a PITA to get on a game with your friends. The Inventory system is annoying.
I'm not sure if I will refund or not. I like it, but I may wait and see how it matures.

Only got in two games earlier, both games went pretty long and teams were balanced. Went blue team just because of the memes from the beta. Up to lvl 15, recon 8.
Pretty much just did a lot of spotting for my team to start racking up cash. One of the games, I found a sniper teammate in some rock hills/ridgeline and spotted for him for 20-30 minutes.
I think it’s recon lvl 10 when you get the mosin nagant. Hopefully get that pretty early tomorrow night so I can get some more games in actually sniping.

Hopefully you weren’t taking cars in. Plenty of people do chopper runs and those are much quicker, just don’t leave home without a parachute.

Same. I like the freedom this game gives a player.
Just don’t play stupid and have a little patience and you’ll have a good time.
Also, steam rating is drastically rising. It’s like clock work, massively hyped game releases, servers are jammed, people complain and give negative review.
Those people refund the game, never come back and don’t realize what they missed out on.

Unlocked the SVD last night and got to use it tonight. Definitely a fun marksman rifle to play with.

Agreed though I keep falling back to the Mosin. It has more punch at range
