some will be asked by the UFC to do a 2 hour appearance at the expo, and most will gladly help out for some ring side tickets, some tv time, and a few extra bucks
Didn't think about all that. Thanks. May have to plan my trip for that week.

You know of any way to get tickets cheaper than Stubhub? I may have to leave Vegas Saturday morning because watching the event and being that close without actually being there would drive me crazy. Of course, if I do real well in Vegas, maybe Stubhub wouldn't be so bad.

that event sold out during the internet pre sale... so I doubt you will find anything cheap.

but if you have never been, then you HAVE to go at least one. And that would be the card to go to. The atmosphere is absolutely insane.

A guy like Rich Clementi, over 50 professional fights, 10 UFC vet, veteran of 2 branches of the military, about as hard nosed a guy you can imagine literally tears up everytime they play the UFC intro video that they play in the arena as the live PPV is starting. And you can only find that video at the live event. They dont show it on tv, and the UFC keeps it under tight wraps so it is no where on the internet.

It is absolutely insane. Imagine walking to the cage under those lights. It is so loud you cant hear yourself yell at times.

Im lucky I experienced it several times as a corner man before I finally got the opportunity to walk as a fighter. I seriously may have thrown up had I been hit with all of that at once before I fought.

Damn, man, stop convincing me to spend $400 on a ticket. You need to go around with Dana promoting the shite out of things. You have a gift.

likewise... Ive gotten to where on Expert, I can stuff takedowns, where Rua down, bust him up standing, and either KO him, or, like last night, beat him by decision.

But I cant take Chuck down...if I do, I cant keep him down, and he usually roughs me up pretty good standing.

Me and My roomate had agreat one last night.

3 rounds of back and forth action, and we both thought we won the decision. Judges scored it 28-28 on all 3. Unanimous Draw

Yeah I can get him down and GnP for like 2 straight minutes but can't finish him. I can't sub him even from a full mount position. And he usually gets into the 3rd and KOs me with one punch or kick.

Has anyone gotten anyone's back yet on the ground?

Ive done is out of mount by accident...

My roomate has done is after stuffing a takedown

But I know exactly how to do with with Shogun from my gaurd.

while in your gaurd, you hold the L1 button, and do a major transition move on the R stick. You will start to work the rubber guard, which means you will start to hook your leg high and grab it with your hand.

Keep working it, and eventually you can pull off an omoplata transition to the back

When does it come out? And will it be worth the buy? I'm offshore and haven't gotten home to download the demo

May 19th

All indications are that it will be well worth the buy. With Shogun and Liddell it's a blast and every fight goes differently, just like in the UFC in real life.

I hope power bombing someone with Rampage is as epic as it can be, because that's what I'm most looking forward to.

This games is awesome. Flying knees are bad arse.

You can't complete any transitions at all or are you playing on advanced or expert?

I've pulled off a couple transitions on the second highest difficulty level but it'd be a very low success rate with how many times I've played on that level.

I've been playing on 2nd highest difficulty, transitioning isn't too tough, but it's worthless, lidell usually breaks out. I played a best of 6 against lidell, and i won 5 of 6 all by knockout, only 1 reached the 3rd round. Personally i find Rua the better player. Lidell has no clinch, And it seems, he leaves himself open alot for counters after his big punches.

they dont penalize you enough for missing big hits..if you just keep throwing haymakers you will win every fight..and the mouth piece flying out every time needs to go

play it on adnavced and expert. if you miss on chuck you almost ALWAYS get a superman punch and Rua almost ALWAYS goes for a takedown and or big head kick.

also try to play a game with the stamina meter on. u will see the consequence of just throwing haymakers. but it sounds more like u just need to step up difficulty level
