Is it possible to transfer your in game purchases, skins, progress, etc from one PlayStation account to another?

If I have an established acccount but create a new one, can I carry all of my stuff from the old one to the new one?

Fair enough. What if I log in with my account on a new console. Will all of my purchases and progress be there it is all if that stored locally on the console's HDD?

do your amazon purchases carry over from your computer to your phone?

of course they do.

if you're using a new console, you're going to have to redownload everything you've ever downloaded from a previous console via the playstation store or the xbox marketplace. game saves will have to be pulled down from the cloud or transferred via flash drive or external hard drive. moving internal hard drives from one console to the other may be a bit more difficult.

I think it really depends. Games are generally protected with DRM. so basically, you would need the same account on the new system to transfer digitally purchased items. Not sure on game saves. Some games the progress is linked to your actual psn name. Like multiplayer games.

Also if you just want your id to change, you can change it without making a new account.

Not sure what the point of just opening a new account would be.

My son has been playing Fortnite on my daughter's boyfriend's account. I
Was hoping I could get him his own account so that he's no longer need to log in with the boyfriend's account. All of his skins, purchases are on that account. That's where all of this is coming from.

those are long gone. especially if your daughter is no longer seeing the boyfriend.... or you can purchase this account from the boyfriend, i.e. give him money for the email/password and make the boyfriend create a new account. but i doubt that is in the cards for you.

create a new account for your son and wipe your hands of it.

back in the PS3 days, you could "game share" on the console. any and all games/dlc that were downloaded to that console could be accessed from all accounts on that console. not anymore. it's all tied to purchasing accounts and that's it.

Oh dang, yeah he may be fudged. Because even if you were just adding an account you’d need to keep the account that has all the purchases on it.

But with that in game stuff, you may need to call whoever made Fortnite to transfer shite to his account. Like I remember having to go through EA customer support to get stuff transfered from one EA account to another.
