This game is really going to need to change up the fighting mechanics to hold my attention. No amount of graphics upgrades and bat-mobile gameplay will keep my attention if the combat system is the same as the 3 Arkham games and Shadows of Mordor. It needs a real change.

I saw it, doesn't mean shite as far as I'm concerned...batman toys always either spoil the game or explain the movie 
Arkham City, TDKR and now this
anyway, my big mystery is "who is the arkham knight"...I suspect it is Jason todd, I'm convinced it will be Jason todd, so much so that i'll be disappointed if it's not Jason todd because anything else would be fricking stupid. then again, I'd be disappointed because it wasn't much of a surprise

I agree they need to add some variety and I have no doubt they will. I don't know about wholesale changes though. have you ever played a game with a better combat system?

being honest, rocksteady would really have to frick things up for me not to love this game. I'm taking a day off of work, I'm bringing out the tent to the living room (my batcave) I'm loading it with beverages and snacks and I'm going to be 12 again for one more day

Lets not kid ourselves. The combat, while having different features is very very similar in nature.

I probably overstated it a little though. they need to change something up so it doesn't all feel the same. At least for me, it has felt basically the same.
