Well that is what the Zelda timeline theorist believe. It was an older or future Termina.

Skyward Sword
The Minish Cap
Four Swords
Ocarina of Time
Then it branches off into 3 alternate time lines
1st Timeline (Link is defeated in Ocarina)
A Link to the Past
A Link Between Worlds
Oracle of Ages and Seasons
Link's Awakening
Zelda
Zelda II: the adventure of Link
2nd Timeline (Link Defeats Ganon in Ocarina, and returns to child era)
Majora's Mask
Twilight Princess
Four Swords Adventures
3rd Timeline (Link Defeats Ganon in Ocarina, and disappears. Adult era)
WindWaker
Phantom Hourglass
Spirit Tracks
I don't actually believe Lorule to be a Future or Past Termina. Just my opinion and guess.
Termina is supposed to be a parallel world to Hyrule
Lorule is supposed to be a dark mirror image of Hyrule
So I see the point that it could be the same land, especially with the Mask and other Easter Eggs.
Both are during different timelines though so whatever happens there would be unrelated.
