I hope he does also. I don't have anything personal against the guy. I'm just going with the law of averages.

I hope Tebow does a good job as well.. simply put, if he does as good as he "could", we will have 2 QBs in the NFL right now proving everybody wrong, and get this - both of them from the SEC.

cam is not proving anyone wrong...only on this site because it is a bunch of bias, bitter LSU, Bama, Arkansas, Georgia, State and Gamecock fans...

cam was a huge cocksucker in college though

eh, I would still say he is proving people wrong. Who could have possibly known he would be able to pull off being an NFL QB so well? Auburn ran the spread, Cam-run-first offense all season last year, now he's playing something COMPLETELY different. I honestly thought he might be like Tebow, and be a bust.

I kept trying to tell everyone, but they were blinded by their Purple and Gold glasses. You're offensive system in college is not a big deal. Actually, it's not even an issue.

Cam has the tools and actually has something more than air between his ears...despite what ESPN tells you, playing quarterback is not rocket science, it's just that so many guys don't put in the work and/or have other issues that holds them back. I'll tell you this, 90% of the people on this board have a higher IQ than Peyton Manning

he is still a huge cocksucker and I hope he tears every ligament in both his knees and breaks his neck, never plays football again, gets his heisman revoked, and ends up back in da po' house

This is the last time that he'll do the voice. So it kind of makes sense.

More info and reviews coming out.

quote:

Another for the reviews section in the OP: 10/10 from Game Informer. "This is the best use of a license in the industry's history. The wealth of amazing content is daunting."

quote:

Okay, not lovely or in-depth, but the guy basically says the game is huge, involved, and a good step better than the first.

There was no real new information I hadn't come across before other than mention of SPOILER which I'll post at the Bottom of this post

quote:

GamesMaster recently gave Batman: Arkham City a 97% score, claiming the game “was the gold standard by which all future videogames should be judged.” But what did they reveal about the game? Read on if you want to find out! Also more spoilers posted at this link

Looks like there will be a $5 DLC pack in December, that will end up being all the skins and features from the various pre-order bonuses.

Spoilers Below.

Not major ones, but some game features possibly not known.

quote:

"an unknown masked vigilante watching me from a distant rooftop" while discussing all of the missions and side missions the reviewer had taking place simultaneously at one point in the game. Well, unless he meant Deadshot, but even if he's taking out criminals in Arkham City, I would refer to him an assassin, not a vigilante.

I'm sure they'll give a 10 to Skyrim as well. The last issue, one of the writers got to play it for an hour, and was just gushing.

Gameinformer is a respected name...what other games have they given perfect scores to?

Fox,

Quoted from someone elses work:

So GameInformer's 10/10 for Arkham City was reviewed by Andrew Reiner.

Here are some of his review scores for past games:

Batman Arkham Asylum: 9.5
Bioshock 2: 8.25
Dead Space 2: 9
Deus Ex: Human Revolution: 8.75
El Shaddai: 9
Enslaved: 7
Mass Effect 2: 9.75
Mortal Kombat: 9.5
Rage: 9
Uncharted 2: 10

So, at least going by the actual reviewer himself, those scores aren't too wild, but yes, it's Gameinformer.

I know ign has only given the 10 to a few games including Mario Galaxy 2, GTA IV, and maybe one or two more

i'm interested for that review, but like you said, it's still gameinformer. uncharted 2 was fricking great, though the Mortal Kombat and Mass Effect 2 scores are a about a point off each

Gamemasters also stated this:

quote:

Not only did GamesMaster give Batman: Arkham City an amazing score they also praised the game for its technical achievements. "As you sour across its dingy backstreets and the destroyed beautif of its Unreal architecture, you’d be forgiven for thinking you’re running the game on a high-end PC." They also claim that the the game rivals Gears of War 3 as the "most impressive visual achievement on the [360] system."

Someone had posted scans of Gameinformer's review, but before I could see them, they took them off the page, under threat from the mods of the board (NeoGAF doesn't like magazine scans)
