i have a AC(city) question. how does Hugo know Batman's true identity?

The comic books (and the cartoon), The point of Hugo Strange is that he knows Bruce Wayne is Batman.
I know the Cartoon version, he was in charge of some sort of mental "rejuvenation" resort, for the wealthy. Like a spa for the mind. But a machine he used, actually read people's thoughts (at least, visually), and would use that info for blackmail or some sort of money grab. Bruce's vision had bats in his head, until it showed he was Batman. Hugo then proceeded to try and sell the secret of Batman to the highest Bidder (all of the Bidder's were Supervillains.)
A combination of Robin acting like Bruce Wayne while Bruce was Batman at the same time and place, and the fact that the Supervillains, when Strange yelled out that Bruce is Batman, couldn't believe that the wimpy Bruce Wayne would be Batman.
I assume the comics had a similar beginning. But Hugo Strange has been around since the 40's, one of the older Batman villains.
Not sure if this is what the game will use. They might go with something else. Either deduction on Strange's part, or perhaps some kind of mind reading device.

i remember that particular episode now. the joker, penguin, and two face were there.i think it was a 2 part episode. i never read the comics. wasn't much of a reader. i was more interested in special effects.

Yeah, Long Halloween was really good.
Interestingly enough, one of the recent Batman comic books has reintroduced Gilda Dent. I'm trying to decide if she's a continuation of the Gilda from Long Halloween, or not.

They will probably use the "modern day" batman timeline, and in which case Hugo always "figures out" that Bruce is Batman simply because he has an insane obsession with Batman and always comes to the conclusion that Bruce is Batman.. then again this is always just before Batman tricks him into completely changing his mind.
For the most part though, if they use the "new" Hugo, it will simply be that he is to smart for his own britches, and has figured out that Bruce is Batman by following Batman's every move.
