Dont get portal 2 yet. Its still gonna be $60 n its only a few hours long. I love the game but if i had a budget i would pick up all the $20 classics i could. Uncharted, god of war III, and Fallout 3 all good choices

You should look into Gamefly. Since you missed out on a lot of the earlier PS3 games, this would be a cheap and easy way to play them. There shouldn't be any problem with game availability on many of those titles.
I'm picking up a PS3 soon (maybe this afternoon). I'll use GF to burn through all of the exclusives I missed out on.

Check out the Assassin's Creed series (you can skip the first one), it has some good stuff as well.
Assassin's Creed II should be pretty cheap by now with AC: Brotherhood having been out awhile.

I picked up my PS3 yesterday along with a copy of The Show. Loving RTTS so far.
Uncharted and Infamous are on their way from GameFly. It's weird getting used to a new system. I picked up a controller that's looks like the xbox controller to help ease the transition.
