LOVED that stream Hart. Actually seems as though commentary and presentation are greatly improved.

This is shaping up to be one of the best sports games ever made. They are putting so many things in it this year that the community has wanted for so long.

I'm Pre Ordering too fool so don't think you're gonna have an advantage. Hope I get the Eric Hosmer rookie card.

If I want to do a dynasty mode type (idk what it's called in MLB the show) will I still have to play all 162 games?
That's my biggest thing. I enjoy playing as the entire team and controlling the front office and building for multiple years. 162 games is entirely too much though. I need the option to play a 32 game season, so I can get through multiple seasons without having to Sim my games.

I don't recall if you can set the length of the season, but what you could do (and I used to do) is pick one game out of every series that you want to play and then just do it that way. This way you can get through multiple seasons in your franchise. Also, your Franchise saves will carry over to MLB 17 as well.
Edit: Just saw that you don't like simming. So, I don't know if you can edit it or not.

Will there be a quick count option in Diamond Dynasty this year?

I doubt it. There MIGHT be an option if you are playing against the CPU, or if you are playing a friend in a friendly match. If you are referring to online head to head against a ranked opponent, you will not see it.

Another question, still on my franchise games topic.
As I had said previously, I don't like simming games but playing 162 games in franchise mode just aren't possible.
So, if franchise mode doesn't make the change to allow less than 162 games, would it work the same if I start an online franchise (where I know you can shorten the season). I can do online, with me being the only user team. That would allow me to shorten my season, but what I was wondering is if it would change anything else. Will all the offseason stuff be the same as if I was doing a regular franchise?
I am starting to lean more towards getting the game, with this franchise option probably being the deciding factor.

I'm fairly certain (unless they surprise us with the upcoming info) that online franchise is more of a season mode thing. One season at a time and then you just restart. I don't believe that they've adopted all of the offline things into online things. This could all change though. The big franchise stream is tomorrow, so way more information about the game mode will be there.
Also, for those of you who can make it, they do giveaways during the stream. They do a couple of the digital deluxe version of the game ($99), they do packs of cards, etc. But you have to be IN stream to claim them.

Well that would force me not to get the game probably. Sucks cause I love the show, just never get much out of it.

I'm telling you man. You will want to get this game. It's shaping up to be the best sports game period. They really are adding a bunch to it to make it different.

I just threw in 15 and checked out where I was. In my franchise I was just in April, so must have started one and never played. Checked out the road to the show, where I was a starting pitcher for the Astros AA squad. Over half way through the AA season. Played one game and got called up to the Astros, right after the all star break. Pitched one game as the #5 starter. After one game I'm now the #3 guy on the rotation. May play a little bit and carry him over into 16.

What is the differences between the 3 costs? I am going to preorder soon.
