How is everyone's RTTS coming? Have a pitcher playing on dynamic difficulty and it's up to HOF in my first season and I'm in the show. The dynamic difficulty shoots up really fast for pitchers.

dynamic difficulty

Is still broken for hitters.

It doesn't go past beginner, at least for a lot of people on the subreddit and myself.

My guy is in his third year, was traded from Texas to the Dodgers and we lost in the World Series my second year 4-1 to the Astros.

He's a 94 overall.

Im still in first season, i am already in the majors with the Twins. My player is a SS with a 79 overall. Im batting in the .280's with 10 homers since my call up to the majors to replace a injured player.

Weird I've gotten it up to Rookie +. Almost to veteran although it's going a little slower than pitching but I believe that because hitting is inherently more difficult

That's where mine is as well and it's been stuck ever since.

Roster update is supposed to be today. Should be interesting seeing what Trevor Story's overall and cost is in DD.

I hope Nomar Mazara gets in for Texas too.

I'd love to play RTTS more but there's no cards to be earned from it - I've been playing mostly DD. Dixie Dirtbag is still in Colorado's AA squad.

I just started playing RTTS a good bit.

Had a second baseman who was drafted by the D-Backs. They don't have a good second baseman, so I knew I could be fast tracked to the MLB. Spent half the season in AA, where I stole 30+ bases and hit around .500. Got called up straight to the show about a month before the MLB All-Star break.

I'm off to a good start. Hitting just below .500 after a few games. My guy is rated 74 right now. Just about all my points go into contact, and he was a speed guy from the beginning. If the 3rd baseman is playing back I bunt, and get at least one hit a game bunting. My guy is so fast that he can beat out some infield singles. I can't come close to putting it out the park yet, and I rarely get an extra base hit but the average is good.

My starting pitcher went #1 overall to the Phillies. Spent 10 games in AA before getting called up to the Show. In 10 games since I am 1-7 with 8 QS, K/9 of 15ish and a 3.47ish ERA. I am just past the All-Star break with a PR of 69.

The Phillies suck.

I have always played RTTS with a pitcher. Just helps the seasons go by faster because you are only playing once every 5 games. I'm enjoying using a position player so far though. Games only usually last 10 minutes or so.

mine last a lot less than that, all i do is hit most of the time. I dont like fielding and base running very much

I only do fielding and base running because you get a lot of training points by doing them.

I do the non-routine defensive plays and only run when I'm the lead runner.

I know there are incentives to say, collect 25 Braves players. If I sell some of them in the market, does it still count them or do I have to actually possess 25 Braves at a given time??

You have to actually possess them. Obviously the best way is to buy the shitty players. That's what I've been doing. I've finished Texas, Tampa Bay, Boston and LA Angels.

The only thing that sucks is that once you redeem that mission, those 25 players are locked into your collection and you can't sell them.

Could you "eat" them to train a created player in DD?

That I'm not sure of. All I've fed my DD player is duplicates.

ETA: I do know that in conquest, after you've taken over a team's stronghold, then played the required of innings with their players, the next challenge is to feed players from that team to your DD player.

Since I found that out I've been waiting.

You can't eat them once they become unsellable

Have a third baseman from last years game. Trying to break the home run record, but I'm off to a slow start since 16 came out. At about 400 home runs in 10 years
