Sounds of the show is another thing. I have tons of music, but it's all on my phone. Wouldn't begin to know how to get it from there to my ps4.
Your best bet would be to transfer the songs to your PC/laptop, then put the songs on a USB/flash drive

Picking it up today. Say I have 3-4 other friends I want to play with online. Which of the modes mentioned above are available/recommended for an online dynasty? Played in the NCAA dynasties for years but am new to The Show and PS4
You can play an online franchise with your 3-4 friends.
You can customize the length of your season in online franchise mode, so you don't have to play all 162 games. I am not sure how it works in the new game, but you could not change the schedules in the old game. And the schedule was the same every year. So, if y'all are interested in playing a shorter season, but playing each other as often as possible you may want to start one alone and view the schedules and pick from those teams that are listed on the schedule.
It can be pretty fun with an active group. It's not as in depth as offline franchise, but still fun.

Is it possible for me to sell literally every player card that I have?
Cards you obtain via pre-order packs are not sell-able. If you complete a team collection, any card you use to get that collection complete becomes unsellable. So if you are going for the easy 25 player on a team missions and one of those teams you have a diamond player on that team, put that diamond player on the market for an absurd unsellable price, and that will prevent you from locking that diamond in, in case you want to sell him at a later date.

Also, I have no fricking clue what this captain crap is
My general understanding is that these were created to
A.) Award you with increasingly better cards
B.) Promote people to use a wider variety of lineups within Diamond Dynasty. Last year, after about 3 months, everyone had basically the same lineup and it killed the game mode.
Additionally, the packs that you can purchase within each captaincy are cards specifically for the objective you are currently using (You can also see what cards go to each captain based on the C's at the bottom of each card). They are color coordinated, so just match up the colors of the Cs at the bottom with your current captain and you will gain more tickets to unlock the rewards faster. I am on level 19 of 25 to get Gerrit Cole from the David Ortiz collection.

Sold a shite ton of my players from pre-order packs. Only card it wouldn't let me sell was Addison Russell for some reason.
Top sellers were Iwakuma and Mookie Betts for me.
Picked up the Maple Sam Bat and the Lunar Trout's.
Gametime.

Hart, can you change difficulty in Diamond dynasty? Also do you have any tips to get tickets and the other currency fast? The currency that you buy packs with I mean

I've got baserunning set to auto and I'll get a base hit and these frickers still won't advance.
Just last inning I hit 2 singles with a man on first and they don't run to 2nd.
WTF is that?

I know last year you could change the difficulty for DD. I can't remember if changing the difficulty gave you better rewards or not but I think it did. The trick to get tickets faster is to pay attention to the captaincy cards. At the bottom of each card are C's. Color coordinate those C's to the Captains and use those players to get tickets faster. The fastest way to earn currency is to play the market like crazy and to complete the missions. There are conquest missions, collection missions, and the standard play as you go missions (obtain x strikeouts, runs, HRs, doubles, etc.)

Conquest is essentially baseball with the board game Risk mixed in. You start off with one stronghold and then slowly work your way around the maps and taking over other strongholds owned by the other teams. The higher the difficulty, the faster you are able to knock off opposing strongholds. When you knock out other teams, you unlock their conquest mission which gives you a certain amount of stubs and xp and then it reveals the next objective to obtain a highly rated player from their team.

There's just soooo much content in the game it is a bit overwhelming at first. But the good part of that is that you definitely won't get bored easily since modes like RTTS and DD offer their own unique experience.
Started my DD last night and forgot to set team colors, logo, anything like that before my first game. They looked like a team of house painters. Also, in DD do you just play exhibitions and games against other users or is there some type of linear season??

I'd assume it's like all the EA Ultimate Team modes where it's just head-to-head with other players and then exhibitions, could be totally wrong though.
I dabbled in Battle Royale for the first time last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. My only complaint is that it's a VERY high risk/possible high reward mode. The amount of stubs it costs to enter is kind of a lot, at least I thought so.
I don't like that a great game mode like that could become blocked behind a money wall.

The cost for BR is really not that bad though. Considering that you get a pack simply just for playing. Entry fee is 1500 stubs. The pack is 1000 stubs on the market. So you are losing out on 500 stubs. If you are even sort of decent at the game, you should be able to get at least 6 wins before losing two games which nets you two additional player cards. I'd say all in all, you might lose out on an average of 200 stubs per entry into BR, which really isn't terrible. Just flip a couple of cards in between games on the market and you've made up your losses.

A couple of gameplay things that take some getting used to: I've found running the bases to be more difficult than it should be (last baseball game I played was 2k10 on 360). Also, there's a lot going on before the pitch, especially if you have runners on base. From having to take a lead and potentially put the steal on, to guessing the pitch and location. Will just take some getting used to I'm sure.
Enjoying the hell out of it

I'm switching the baserunning back to what it was last year if that's an option which I'm sure it is. Too often I've found myself with guys on the same base

Damn, I've played the game for the last four years and I thought I was at least okay
The first entry last night I lost both games 1-0. I did managed to win three the in my second entry, but lost my last one in seven innings.
I do like how short the games are. Makes every single pitch feel all that more important, which it is.
The only other thing I don't like is that risking your better draft selections on pitchers is so damn risky. In the seven games I played, not once did one of my better pitchers get selected due to the random picking.

How was it in previous games?

oh lord. For the love of all that is holy, this is a PSA to EVERYONE with the game. STOP USING GUESS PITCH! It is such an absolutely crippling thing to use and the reward window is so damn small that it just isn't worth it. Especially when the risk punishment is so significant. Here is my hitting advice to you, and trust me it works.
Unless you just rocked a pitcher for back to back hits, ALWAYS wait until the first strike is thrown. It does a few things for you.
1.) You see more pitches which in turn forces the starter to use more stamina and could get him out of the game faster.
2.) You see more pitch types which trains your eyes how to read a ball out of the pitchers hand.
3.) You could work yourself into a bunch of hitters counts (1-0,2-0, 3-0, 3-1). It could force the CPU to throw more predictable strikes.
