My bad, I was thinking season. I knew I had changed it before but I guess I did that in season and not franchise mode.

Well, I am (unfortunately) back at work. I took yesterday off. Upon midnight release, I stayed up until 9 AM playing/streaming. I then hopped off around 9:30 and took a quick power nap (woke up at like 11). Cleaned house a bit and then hopped back on around 1 PM and didn't get off until midnight last night. I opened over 90 packs and my notable pulls were a second Carlos Gomez (got the first one in one of the opening week packs from pre-order), and a Diamond Craig Kimbrel. My current lineup looks like this:
C: Matt Weiters
3B: Jung-Ho Kang
SS: Carlos Correa
2B: Jose Altuve (Rookie)
1B: Lucas Duda (his 5 star rating is amazing ATM)/Edwin Encarnacion
LF: Michael Conforto (another 5 star rated beast)
CF: Carlos Gomez
RF: Jason Heyward (flashback)
Starting Pitchers: Shelby Miller, Julio Teheran, Chris Capuano, Bartolo Colon (flashback), Hyun-Jin Ryu
Battle Royale:
I am currently 8-1. My next win will next me a flashback joba Chamberlain.
Conquest:
I have 60+ territories. With the "Challenge failed" crap happening to me trying to play Battle Royale, I dove head first into Conquest mode. Haven't even touched a game of Diamond Dynasty H2H.

Yeah Conforto is a beast right now. Have him in cleanup behind Bryant
SP is my biggest issue right now. Haven't pulled anyone even close to good (above 76).

THis was happening to me last night also. I played 2 games of battle royale and then couldn't play another because of this. I eventually gave up and started RTTS.

You're better off flipping cards on the market and just buying your SP, or dropping like $10 and getting 10 Pitcher packs.

Oh and just in case you guys were wondering, every mission (so far for me) has had another mission under it once the current is complete. That's how I found a 95 OVR rated Chipper Jones in the game. It's going to either take a bunch of time or a lot of money to get him

I probably will. The market just isn't as fun for me. I like the Christmas Morning feeling

Damn I want to pull the trigger on this game badly, I'm off work today and tomorrow. My main fear is that I'm just a casual baseball fan and I've never played the show before. But growing up I loved playing baseball games.

Yea, I know the feeling. It took me 90 packs, but I finally pulled a diamond. Unfortunately, after opening so many packs I was getting frustrated that I wasn't getting anything more than silver that when I saw the diamond and saw it was Craig Kimbrel I was moderately disappointed lol.

Im not new to The Show but this is the first year that i am going to try to get into DD. What are some tips on the best ways to build up Stubs and get new card packs?
Posted on 3/30/16 at 9:49 am to The Godfather
the best way to build stubs is through the market place. A person can only buy/sell the top listed price which makes it insanely easy to flip cards for profit. There is a 5% tax on all transactions so keep that in mind when flipping cards.
Take that graphic for example. Last year the tax was 10% so realistically none of those cards would have been great to flip unless you got lucky and had a legend from a pack and nobody wanted to do the collection.
BUT.. look at Masahiro Tanaka. If someone wanted him RIGHT then and there they would have to pay 20,789 stubs to get him. Likewise, if someone wanted to "quick sell" him, they would be getting 15,555 minus the 10% tax from him. That is where your profits come from.
If you are looking to flip, you want your sell now price to be the top option. So you would over bid the 15,555 guy.. Maybe bump it to 16,000 and hope someone quick sells him to you. Once you have that card in your possession, you can then turn around and list it for "buy now". You would need to put it at a lower price than the currently listed 20,789. So let's say you list it for 20,000 and someone buys it. That means that before tax you have a 4000 stub profit. apply the 10% tax and you just made a +3600 stub profit. It's hard to find that major of a gain, but it is possible.

I've pretty much always played the show, but just RTTS and Franchise. Never really got into the online stuff with the game.
I am waiting for rosters to come out, so I dove into the online portion of it. I was pretty lost.
I started out playing the Conquer the area thing. I played one game against the Rockies and was getting destroyed, their team was just miles better than mine. I also had no earthly idea about what I was attempting to do.
I then switched over and did Battle Royale. This was pretty fun, even though I lost the two games I played and was kicked out.
I then just played an online game against somebody. Was a really good game, I guess both of our DD teams equally sucked.
Will play around with it a lot more tonight. Any suggestions on what is fun and what I should try to do?

But how do you get one?

Yeah I feel like I'm missing out on a big part of this game because I don't have a full understanding of some of it.

Sounds of the show is another thing. I have tons of music, but it's all on my phone. Wouldn't begin to know how to get it from there to my ps4.

Picking it up today. Say I have 3-4 other friends I want to play with online. Which of the modes mentioned above are available/recommended for an online dynasty? Played in the NCAA dynasties for years but am new to The Show and PS4

What difficulty do y'all like playing on? I like HOF because you actually have to place the zone, but I still struggle to get hits. Any advice?
