For the most part it never bothered me and really didn't notice it. Sometime last year while finding athiesism and soberiety, the offended crowd really started to get under my skin like they have never before. These guys and gals today are mostly punks and pussies who like you stated, do not know true oppression.
I'm fearfull of how quickly a culture can change then lend a society to failure relatively quickly. This is the main reason I follow and pay attention to this stuff now.

I'm personally of the mindset, "If I don't like something, I just won't partake/buy/or consume it."
Too many people nowadays want to yuck other peoples yum.

The crazy thing is, I also agree with most of her points. Yes we need some change, but it was and is the way her community which she has some power to direct have approached these issues.

You have a whole raft of industry lobbyists and the first amendment to get past before you can put any regulations on this stuff.

I think you give her and her following too much credit. I feel much like Diedaily does. I generally just ignore her though. These people thrive on the attention, good or bad.
