Today I got my first nuke

I am at level 64 on my first prestige, using ACR (with acog stopping power, slight of hand and scavenger pro) to hold down C on karachi. They just kept coming out of the three story house to the right. Used harrier,chopper gunner,nuke. Should have waited because it was the middle of the game and I may have been able to up my highest kill streak, currently at 34

The only time I get ridiculous kill streaks is when I'm not equipping a nuke.
The only time I've ever been on the cusp of a nuke was once on overgrown and my CG got shot out of the sky.

a couple of people sent me msgs on 360 about waiting till later in the game to call it in, but i was still nervous we would loose connection. I got to about 20 with the chopper gunner and had to kill the last ones with my trusty ACR. I love that gun

Yeah, but has minimal power.
Top 5 guns on this game. IMO
1. intervention with fmj--no explanation needed
2. mp5--KING of all automatic weapons--great for clearing an entire room within seconds.
3. ump--double kill beast
4. tar-21--best assault rifle imo
5. p90--long clip makes it deadly
ak-47---powerful, actually is underrated
m4--weak
scar--powerful, but reload exchange is horrible
acr--minimal power, horrible
famas--best gun to get nukes, but horrible mobility
Based on power, reload exchange, and mobility.

When i play the mid range game, it is the most successful for me. It is the best gun for mid range and long range. I can kill more with one clip than I can with any other assault rifle.
For some reason, I seem to get most of my nukes with this gun.

im just hardheaded and find a setup i like and play it for a month or so

I've been trying to switch over to sniping and have had a lot of success with Intervention FMJ.
But it's hard to beat the M16 or SCAR with stopping power for mid-range. IMO

when i snipe i use the intervention with extended mags.
but if you want to combine long-range sniping with a close quarters or medium-range secondary try the PP2000. it's literally an SMG that you can use as a secondary.
