Obviously playing more and more will help me get better, but I'm getting donkey punched, most of the time. Sometimes I'll have a decent game, but damn, most of the time I don't

I know you all have prestiged a few times, any tips you can give for a lowly noob like me?

biggest tip is learn the maps and the routes people typically take, if you kill them, they usually come back for you

this is a type of camping, but hey, it works

Now that thats out the way. The most important thing to do is learn the maps and get comfortable with your guns.

Starting out, trust the M4 and Famas, use stopping power and scavenger, and don't go out in the open. Play some objective games like Dom or demo because the objectives funnel players to them. The best advice is to learn the maps.

this is the one thing I have never experimented with after all these months playing...

does it really improve your game?

I believe so. You acquire targets a lot faster when u're used to the higher speeds. Must becareful though... at first i tried to step it up too quickly and I began to over shoot my targets constantly and had to go back down to 5.

I've been doing better the last few games, I'm not being a bloody idiot and running out in the open But sometimes I feel like I'll light someone up, but they just end up killing me anyways.

Oh, and I just finished the campaign. fricking leaving the story there is crap

for some people in every match there will be the slightest lag (aka host advantage) and in most cases its very unnoticeable. but this little bit of a lag can make a huge advantage for the other guy when you both see and shoot at the same time.

on a completely different note, this could also come down to stopping power vs no stopping power on guns with similar damage rating.

That makes sense, there have been a few matches where everything will mess up and then the game will have to find a new host or something. I bumped up my look sensitivity to 7, before it was mentioned on here actually, and that's helped too.

If you guys have ps3, add my psn: fergavicious

(my last name is Ferguson, dudes call me Fergie )
