After finishing the game I started thinking about how much work it took to make this game. With all the voice acting and creating a beautiful world to explore the amount of time spent on this game must have been crazy. I finished all the witcher books and about all the game references are from the books. If you really loved the games read the books and then play the game again.

The game is beautiful. I played for only a few hours and havent picked it up since though. I'll eventually finish it.

It is truly impressive how many connections to the books they managed to pack in. Particularly when it comes to minor conversation choices in the game you can choose with Geralt or Ciri.
