Never was a PC gamer. Hate mouse/keyboard mechanics. The only BF game besides Bad Co I ever played was the XBLA 1943(?). it sucked. but it was XBLA afterall. 32 players seems to big for console imo.

One of the best time wasting games ever. Could never fly the jets, so I would just strap some c4 to them and blow them up when the poor opposite player was about to take off.

I would think the maps would need to be massive...way bigger than Bad Company's...to be able to fly jets.

Can't wait! Looks unfricking real! What is the expansion they were talking about?

you've never played a real BF game if you think that. BF2 was 64 players (so is 3, but only on PC). huge, epic battles are what BF is about. BC2 really confused people. that game barely resembles true BF.

some of you should really play BF2. seriously. BC is a goddamn joke in comparison. the FPS genre has taken a really unoriginal turn since 2005. thank god BF3 looks like it'll change things, just like BF2 did.

BF2 and counter strike are the only PC games I've played to any extent. I'm just saying... BF2 is the shite. and it's $9 on amazon.

For what moment? BC sucked.I aint playin that trash. BOps is good enough for the rest of FUTR it seems. Maybe you quit because you started sliding down the FUTR hierarchy?
Ill smash you in BF3 too cuz

The themed multiplayer expansion will include four maps from Battlefield 2, re-imagined with Frostbite 2’s updated physics and destruction engine. Naturally there’ll also be a bunch of trophies, weapons and unique in-game rewards up for grabs as part of the expansion.
maps will probably be Karkand, Gulf of Oman, Wake Island, and some other one.

Sweet...and I like how the new game has that desert and Middle Eastern feel to it.

I like how DLC includes weapons. GRAW was like that. If this game has custom classes, addictive ranking system, unlockables/challenges, Fixed objective game modes, customizable characters/weapons..<3!

won't be as custom as a CoD game--there need to be set roles for players and squads. they don't want everyone trying to be a sniper.

will likely have all of this

it's actually going back to its roots, since a lot of BF2 maps were in the middle east
