I was a huge fan of Fobia. Hoping this one improves on Pulsatrix's former title.
quote:
A.I.L.A is a first-person horror game set in a near-future filled with immersive technology. Play as the sole game tester for a revolutionary new fictional AI. Survive intense horror experiences that prey on your deepest fears as the lines between virtual and reality begin to blur…
quote:
AILA doesn't follow a single gameplay style; each "world" created by the AI ??presents a different style, ranging from psychological horror to exploration and combat in environments inspired by classic survival horror. One moment we're solving puzzles in tight corridors; the next, we're traversing a forest searching for missing people while facing deformed creatures with melee or ranged weapons.
The game takes advantage of this variety to keep the experience fresh and unpredictable. There are stages heavily inspired by PT , others directly reminiscent of Resident Evil 7 , with inventory, item combinations, traditional puzzles, and combat. This diversity works very well and keeps us curious about what comes next.
