Please post your SC2 name, character code, the race you prefer playing, and your rank in 1v1 (just league medal is fine). I didn't post your info if I already had it and you didn't post it in this thread yourself in case you wanted to keep that private.
Due to summer being over this can't really be a summer league anymore, but I still think this can work and be interesting.
I have brainstormed about ways to get this to work as a league like for each week a pair have to play each other in a match, best of 3 games, over the course of the week. Any time they see fit. We'd record game wins/losses, and match wins. And then we'd have point systems. You get extra points if you beat someone ranked above you, lose extra points if you lose to someone ranked below you. So players would be responsible for playing 3 games a week, recording the W/L of those games, and recording the match winner. Near the end when everyone's played, we'd have a tournament of the best players in each rank. Maybe have the lower players play for 3rd, or play 2v2 vs others.
BUT I realized what if the league is just having your info here so any time, day or night, you could find someone to play and learn from because that list is there. And maybe once in a while have a fun little tournament with handicaps to even the playing field.
I'm open to suggestions on how we can take this.

I figure we have a handful of players on here that play SC2 on the reg. I always love playing and would appreciate some 1v1 practice partners. What about organizing a little league where we play scheduled amount of games together and then have a tourney?
We can even do teams.

Yeah. Just got back to my place so I can play again. I was on a nice streak before I left, and now I'm kinda meh. I think some of that is due to the new season.
@ Doorknob: Yes, and I thought I'd never play SC2 because it was too unrealistic. I play SC2 every day now.

i used to play C&C all the time, and i miss it.. i doubt there is still an online community for that game.. do you know of any games that are comparable to that series that is out now? not really into the whole space/aliens/unrealistic genre, i like actual war games (not flaming on starcraft, i've played it and liked it, just never got into it)

That are real-time strategy?
I think Age of Empires and Total War are the only ones up to date. Total War mixes RTS with turn-based strategy.
