I think it should be done in off season position changes and I know people have done it before. My problem is you have to keep track of one player. Is he in the game or out. When you come out nickel it's a mismatch against the MLB, if you come out dime audible to run. Yes you lose a blocker but not in this game. He will block as well as any TE.

Auburn ran it plenty and I could not stop. He's a good user and does not need to do this and I probably would have lost anyway but that is a whole other issue. By the time I realised that he is not just a good TE it was over. If it is OK then add it to your scouting report for Auburn.

On Position Changes:

This is a sticky situation beacuse the game does not manage it very well. So therefore, we have ground rules that have been in place since EZgate regarding personnel (EZ used to put HBs at DE for speed and ungodly amounts of sacks... on another note, why do we always have prick users as UF? lmao):

PERMANENT personnel changes SHALL BE made in the offseason. WR to QB, QB to SS, doesn't matter. Do whatever the frick you want. PERMANENT will be losely defined as anything that's not an occasional personnel wrinkle.

2nd/3rd strings being out of position, but within reason MLB @ CB, CB @ SS, TE @ OG/OL, etc. is cool. Stick to same sides of ball. O=O, D=D.

Anything that is offered as far as default packages in game is legit. I frequently use the personnel package grouping to quick switch my HBs into FB spots and RBs into WR slots. Anything you can do using the right analog is cool.

Formation subs and depth chart changes, outside of the OCCASIONAL wrinkle in personnel, ie putting a speedy CB at WR or a great hand WR @ CB, putting a WR @ TE or a TE @ WR, are okay. But OCCASIONAL means OCCASIONAL. You must change the depth chart in game, and not have it pre-set. A depth chart that exists outside of the in game chart is considered PERMANENT. This really should be used in extraordinary circumstances. If you want that WR @ TE all the time, convert him to a TE. It does alter his stats and overall.
