Not quite. I was not going to win that game in the CPU's eyes. I had 4 TDs with Ford in the first game, and I could feel the tide turning in the 4th when I was up 24-21 before it froze. They started jamming every run and swatting every pass. I was about to have to punt before the freeze.

In the second game, Mett played better, and I outgained them in yards, had 1 turnover to the 3 I forced from them. I had more offense, better pass efficiency, better 3rd down %age, better everything. The difference was a bull-fricking-shite kickoff return for a TD of 99 yards to open the second half for USC.

At the end of the game, when I had my 1 pick, every fricking pass route was squiggly, my controller was shaking, and Mett was blue. I converted 3 first downs and needed a TD to win. From the USC 20 with :31 sec left and no timeouts, I threw a slant pass to the USC 1, that I lead correctly with the controller, to an apparently open Randall, which was picked by the trailing MLB that was playing man coverage. I was pissed, because on all accounts, Randall was wide open, but I attribute the pick to Mett being "blue" and "cold." Had he been "white" and unrattled, it was a TD or was on the 1. I played a great game and have no shame in the outcome, other than being pissed for a loss. It's whatever. I think we all know how this game can be sometimes by now.

Agree with you there. You have to earn your victories. They snap it and zip it to any receiver they feel like.

Hey now, there are a couple studs in college station. I have a youngun that has a pick 6 and a couple sacks in just 2 games. And my DT isn't shabby either.
