Good game, impressive running attack. You did well to keep the ball most of the game, but my O can put up points very quickly. Closer than the score suggests.

What would y'all think about giving the smaller/tougher schools easier schedules next year so that they have a chance to get good bowl games and such?

I'm just thinking of ND, vandy, Miami etc. This could just be one less user game or something to help them out.

Well I can quit using him if that makes everyone happy. I didn't use him at all against nino when we played, and sparingly against you. Had to get some run defense in there.

well it just gives you an unfair advantage on the passing game, when he was in the only passes i was able to use were slants and curls and that didn't turn out so well.

its not unfair when you don't play as him because he doesn't come around the end, but when you play as him, its cheesing because you can just bring him outside and then go around the block. Thats the cheesing. The sacks he had that what you did because i watched. It definitely killed any chance of driving the ball because it forced me into long situations and i coudln't pass deep in them the same shite would happen.

so its not necessarily the using him there, its "you" using him there. Thats where the unfair advantage comes from.

Demps has been really despondent over the recent controversy surrounding his talent on the field. He came to see me on the plane ride back from Nashville. He said that he couldn't understand why people hated him for being too good. He was close to tears when he relayed the 'cheesing' comments. I told him that life is not always fair, but we have to pick up and move on. I said that he must continue to do what he was put here to do, play football. He said ok coach, and then walked back to his seat.

The next thing anyone knew there was a large pressure change in the cabin and breathing aids were falling from the ceiling. The pilot made an emergency landing, and it was determined that the back door to the plane had gone missing. Apparently so had Demps.

So everyone can relax, you won't be seeing Demps again.

my view is not the point of demps at defensive end. Its when you "control" demps that gives the unfair advantage. It was funny that you put him in when it was 14 - 14 and i was able to move the ball on you. Back to my point. If you don't control he runs right into the block and he's useless but when you control him you pull him outside further then the normal spot and just curl around the tackle or tight end. Thats the unfair advantage. your defense is already a 99 or close to it, no need to give yourself that extra edge.

and seawolf, i agree with you, and you have to play against it to realize how much it affects you offensively. I could only slant and curl and once he picked up on it he was able to play certain defenses that made that even more difficult. i couldn't sit in shotgun becase it gives demps an easy go at the qb.

so its not demps at defensive end, its you playing as demps at defensive end. At one point i thought you had rainey and demps but dunlap is #8 as well.

personally i don't want an easier schedule, depending on how my recruiting goes i may just switch teams to a higher star rating to be at par with the others.
