Really fun alternative to the show. Fun over the top style players and more arcade type play with quite a bit of customization.

I've made almost 40 custom teams for this game, made a league and just simulate the results.
It's fun to play too if you're weird like that...

What are some of the best baseball games these days? I mostly game on pc but do have a switch and access to a ps4. With college baseball kicking off I've been having an itch to play a baseball game but it's been a loooong time since I've played one. I started to look and see if I could get the college baseball game they made for a few years running in an emulator but then realized that it was just about 15 years ago they stopped making it... It was for the ps2...

I downloaded Smb 3 demo for the switch and it's pretty fun. I'd probably go ahead and pull the trigger if the show wasn't releasing in a few weeks. Should I definitely wait for the show?

I'd say that depends on what type of baseball game you want. Obviously, the graphic styles are different. The Show uses real players and teams and is more a simulation of real baseball than Super Mega Baseball. Both are fun.

I really like the game, but there’s no way to change difficulty levels. So it’s very easy to pitch shutouts every game.

You can 100% change the difficulty.
But if i remember from the other ones its not as obvious as "Difficulty Easy/Medium/Hard" Its like based on Ego or something. And in previous ones it was on a slider from 0-100% if im not mistaken

I could never pull the trigger on this game because of The Show. But I have been The Show fatigued that last couple of years and would burn out on it pretty quickly.
This quote right here just hit the nostalgic button and has me remembering my NES days of creating teams in Baseball Stars (probably my favorite & most played NES game ever). I might have to look into this game.

Yeah the difficulty slider is called ego, at least in Smb3.
