So my kids watch a ton of gaming vids and want to get in the game recording trend, but my minimum pc skills leave me at a bit of a loss on the setup. We recently purchased an Elgato HD60s capture card and have experimented around with OBS but it’s pretty clear I don’t know what the frick I’m doing...

I guess the question I have is there anybody a regular guy can hire to get my setup operational? Geek Squad? Nerd Works? What do you do when you need to hire someone to come out and get you running?

have you ever heard of YouTube? there's a lot of how-to videos there.

are you wanting to stream?
you're going to need a twitch, mixer or youtube account. those are the big three. there's also facebook if you want your friends to watch them.

are you wanting to record?
all you should need is OBS or SLOBS and upload to any website you desire.

i'm not an expert because i can't seem to build a following playing call of duty, but i've messed around enough to know how to create a decent set up.

If you dont know what you are doing you should be able to do everything straight from the Capture card software.

Slobs also pretty easy but maybe your computer isnt good enough.
