Don't think most on here have heard about it but the full release is on the 23rd and it's really good.
If you pre-buy it, you can start playing on half the maps in skirmish and multiplayer. With full release comes a campaign, more battlegroup (I think) and 5-6 more maps. I bought it last night and I honestly have put in about 8 hours.
So the gist is it's a tactical WW2 strategy game (publlished by Paradox Interactive).
You command a battlegroup in 1v1 to 4v4 sandbox matches. There's a cool mechanic that you can build your own battlegroup. You choose a historical division and you have to mix and match units from that division to build your battlegroup. It's super deep and I have only messed with it a little bit but it's super historically accurate to the point where it's kinda a detriment. Especially for the support category, you aren't always sure what the unit is lol. But you can always just use premodern divisions.
The battles themselves are fantastic. There are 3 stages. The first stage you can deploy lighter troops, then for the next stage you can deploy heavier units and finally you can deploy your heavy hitters.
You deploy units based on points earned depending on the mode. If your in conquest, you earn a certain number of points no matter what every minute where the other mode you only get points by destroying other units.
It feels good and realistic and hectic and exciting m. The AI is very good from what I've seen.

Tried the campaign yesterday night. The easiest campaign mission is medium and then everything else is hard or very hard.
I did not think the medium mission was easy at all.
