You still need to login online and assign some tasks to get enough points to have the best ending. If you don't know to do this, you can't have your choice of all of the endings even with every quest done and everything maxed out.

Man, you are so lucky. I wish I could play ME2 for the first time again. The first time I ran into that nightclub on the space station (with the volume cranked) was one of my coolest gaming moments ever.

ME2 was the best in the series and one of the GOAT RPGs ever.

It was playable enough that I spent 80 hours on it but it had zero emotional impact and you would have to be blind to not see the PC police changed the game.
Fact. It went from a pile of hot chicks and sex to some ugly broads of all species. That didn't stop me from playing it.
It was just meh. Once they fixed the goofy faces that didn't change that the story wasn't as interesting as previous games.
If the game was a new franchise put out by a different company, it wouldn't have been hated as much, but it would still have plenty of folks harping on the bad graphics, SJW influences and overall boring story.
I built up all of the bases but never got around to finishing the story. I just didn't care after 80 hours.
