This game is fun as hell IMO. Anyone who decides to run around with an assault rifle would be an idiot; it's not even remotely fun. I've been taking the panther path just because I enjoy KILLING mercs silently.

Since I've been reading more I'm considering getting it and playing it on perfectionist mode. From what I hear, that's the closest I'll get to Chaos Theory

Urgent question to all who have played this.
If you're playing this stealthy, how many rounds do you get for your pistol? Please tell me not much. One of my favorite aspects of the old games was having extremely limited ammo and having your pistol be a last resort.

Eh I'm playing on hard...ammo hasn't really been "short" but I guess it depends on how you play through. If you go through carefully using your shots you shouldn't ever feel out of ammo but if you try to just use rapid fire pistol action you'll find yourself out quickly. It certainly doesn't feel like you have too much ammo, but your not going to find yourself completely on empty unless playing on perfectionist I guess

It sounds like perfectionist mode is for you then. No in game resupplys of ammo and gadgets.Much harder than past versions.

In my opinion not at all. There are a bunch of side missions of of the main story line that take some time to finish. I also dont play like an a-hole (running and gunning), so playing the game as stealthy as possible takes a shite ton of time.

It took me 47 min to finish a mission yesterday on normal difficulty fwiw

LOL. Me too. I try to be as stealthy as possible. I was playing a side mission where you had to neutralize 11 enemies. Get down to the last guy after about 45 minutes of sneaking and hiding, I get cute with the tri-rotor and miss with the electric shock. Guy sounds the alarm and 13 reinforcements pour in with dogs. Shut the system down and went to bed after that.

I noticed a co-op only mission on the electronic mission selection table last night. We will definitely do this one, as I hate playing with randoms.

I noticed that mission today; I also refuse to play with randoms. I can't imagine them putting together logical thought patterns

I gave in and bought it last night. I like it on Perfectionist. It feels like a SC game. And thank god that you can't use that Red Dead Redemption dead eye bullshite on Perfectionist. That's so cheap.
