He has experience with this?

I'll have to find him.

Was he happy with the service or did he get fricked?

He loved every second of his experience with this process.

From the day I sent mine out via IPS to the day it was delivered back to me was 8 days total. Not a terrible turn around.

Sort of. I sent it off on the 22nd of January to be repaired/replaced/whatever they do. They said the turnaround time is 7-10 business days. I can't fathom them being able to get it and return MY same console. I'm sure they get yours and send out another refurbed X-Box.

Are you in LA? If so they will prolly send it to repair center in Mesquite, TX.

fairly quick turnaround...2 weeks max

write down your serial # & see if they send you the same unit back or a new one

I sent in twice before & was good experience.

Yes. I wrote the serial number down before I sent it.

I guess 3 years wasn't a bad run!

I'm in LA but mine was going to SYMRNA TN.

And I did not write down my serial number. Any reason I should have?

They have gotten much better on turnaround time. I sent mine back right after halo 3 came out and it took 2 months. But the last time I sent back in the past year it only took about 7 business days.

Mine lasted 1 1/2 years which I think is pretty shitty.
