For 17.99 at Gamestop for xbox1. Is it worth it? I have heard a lot of people crap on it.

Absolutely. You get about 30 to 50 hours of good to great gaming

Amazon had it for $9.99 for the disc. Edit: Amazon has it for $9.99 on PS4 and $17.99 for base game disc
The 1.5 update is good. The loot economy is in a good spot, a lot better than it was in 1.1-1.3.
Underground was an OK expansion, similar to how greater rifts are in Diablo 3 but the rewards were packing. I haven't had a chance to try out the new survival DLC but last night I played for about 2 hours and I was able to get enough max level gear to keep me alive while facing lvl 34 enemies. Just need to work on getting a decent Alpha Bridge 4pc set.

This game would have made a lot of money off of me if they didn't go full MP mode with the expansions, I really liked the game but don't play MP so I bought none of them.

You don't have to play multiplayer. There is plenty of stuff to do around Manhattan like killing the 15 open world bosses.
Underground can be done entirely solo. It isn't that difficult.
I have over 800 hours into the game, took a break because of how bad 1.3 was but I have played probably 3-400 hours solo.

Prob 0, I tended to solo DZ 6 and run away from other players.
Alpha Bridge is an armor set that lets you use the 3 perks from the one gun on your current equiped one as long as both are in the same archetype.
