Satellite Internet

I have hughes net (it is satellite internet) and was wondering if there is any way i can get it to work with live?

You can get it to work, but it will suck big huge donkey balls. Gaming or any other online app that depends on latency/ping times, is HORRIBLE on satellite.

Yep, you can expect ping times of 200ms+. It will be almost useless to play FPS.

It is also horrible for business applications like VPNs and VoIP. It's great for surfing the web and downloading but thats about it. The trip to and from space is what is going to kill you.
