Red Dawn Redemption Zombie edition ?

New to this board. Do you have to have the original game (Red Dawn Redemption) to play the Zomie edition? The reason I ask I purchased the Zombie edition from Target for $25.00 it is a present for my son for Xmax.

Yeh man, sorry to break the bad news but Undead Nightmare was just a DLC(Downloadable Content) for RDR.

You are fine. It will just be the Zombie mode though, he won't be able to play RDR regular.

FWIW, the Zombie game is fun, but pales compared to the full game.

With Undead, you get a short (about 8-10 hour) single player undead campaign, plus all of the multilpayer RDR modes & multiplayer DLC. The only thing you'd be missing is the single player RDR campaign. You don't need the original disc to play Undead. The Undead disc is well worth $25 IMO.
