sure did my friend. I found a thread on toms hardware with a 30 point checklist for failures to post. Luckily I only got to 4. Started by taking off the excess thermal paste. Then I reseated my gpu. Next I reseated my dimm and it worked. I think the issue was the dimm slots only have releases on one side, so I had figured if it snapped in it would be fine. You really have to make sure that you put even pressure on both ends of the dimm.
Immediately spent 3 hours updating drivers, installing chrome, free AV, steam, etc. Finished up cable mgmt the next day and sealed it up. It is super fast and runs everything on max settings. Granted, I have only really played some d3 and tf2 on it. Then I started up dear ester and holy shite it is beautiful. I had played dear ester on my laptop on lower settings and I just didn't get it. With the graphics and textures turned up it is much more immersive. Love this computer so far. If I could do it over the only thing I would do different is get a modular power supply. I ended up with two whole strings of unused molex and sata power connections which were a pita to hide well. Will post pics in the AM. Am going to OC soon.

Awesome to hear! I'm actually try to sell off most of my build and go a different route. 7970 and watercooled

Third pic was the work in progress. Thinking of adding another 140mm blue fan on the bottom next to the PSU. Tried to keep the wires out of the way, but some just weren't long enough and had to run through the case.

That case looks real good! When do you plan on oc'ing?

just did.
I just used ASUS on disc utility to do it. Got it to 4.8GHz. I had heard a couple bad things about auto tuners particularly about them ramping up voltage too high. I let it complete its cycle and then just dialed down the max voltage to 1.35 per intel's recommendations. At idle I get 1.6Ghz with 28C temps. About to run some D3/TF2 and see how hot it gets.

one hours of d3 on max settings, hottest the cpu got was 36 degrees! I know d3 isn't the most taxing game but that is pretty impressive to me.

What did your gpu get to and what are you using to monitor your temps? I use speed fan but I heard that it can be 2-3 degrees off (not too worried about it right now, but on my next build I'll have to find another)

I need to OC my rig.

sounds like you don't need wifi. Disregard my recommendation.

so yesterday my whole computer just shut down after everything was running fine. Now, when I press the power button the unit tries to turn on one time for like .25-.5 seconds. Tried reseating ram, gpu, cpu. When I turn on the power supply the green LED on my mobo is on indicating it is receiving power. 8 pin and 24 pin are firmly connected. Sometimes when I jiggle the wires on the 24 pin it will try to start for only a second or so. PSU failed the paper clip test so I am definitely RMAing it, but I am wondering if I should RMA the mobo on account of the onboard power LED coming on.
Do I just RMA both the mobo and PSU to be on the safe side?

That white Fractal is sweet. Nice set up mann.
I almost purchased that ASUS mobo for a blue concept but went with a MSI Z77A-GD80 instead.

Just sent it off today. Gonna go with a straight swap for the mobo. I liked it pretty good. Thinking of going with a modular PSU. I can go with this one
I went to best buy earlier today and saw this one on clearance for 90 bucks! What's yall's experience with thermaltake's PSUs? Reputable? Which one would you get coyote

I have an OCZ 600w that I'm trying to get rid of that's fully modular. I was given a corsair psu so I have no use for mine now
