PS4 Exclusive Game Reccomendations

After all these years I just bought my first ever playstation 4. It came with a bundle that includes The Last of Us Remastered, God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn.
I am sure there have been other threads discussing other PS4 games but I can't seem to find them. If anyone else has any recommendations on what else to try let me know.
Defintely plan on checking out Bloodborne and MLB the show too.

You have plenty enough to get started with 4 of the top 10 PS4 games of all time on the list.
The bundle and Bloodbourne will keep you busy for up to 160+ hours.

Nathan Drake Collection along with Uncharted 4.
Not really my cup of tea, but big favorite among PS4 fans.

If they paced out the action sequences a lot better, I'd be a bigger fan. I finished the first one and was almost done with 2 when I finally stopped playing them. I tried to play though the first one again with the Nathan Drake Collection, but I was an hour or 2 in when the endless gun battles reared their ugly head and I was done.

Carson is full of shite. I got him to admit they weren't bad and had solid production values, good acting, nice enough story but he didn't like cutscenes. Just not his cup of tea.
I seem to recall Carson liking Detroit Become Human which was nothing but a choose your own adventure. I could be wrong about that one. I'm old. My memory sucks so sue me.
I do know he loved Edith Finch which was a 4 hour walking simulator.

i have 0 issues with cutscenes and i enjoy overly cinematic games
i take issue with the bland mechanics, cookie cutter plots, stale dialogue, stereotypical characters, and narrative dissonance. you literally kill thousands of people throughout the game and then the villain says at some point "drake wont do it. he doesnt kill in cold blood"

The first one is hard to play today. The mechanics and camera angles are terrible. I only played it because after Playing 4, I liked the characters enough to want to learn all of the backstory.
I say it every time so I will say it again. In video game history there has never been a bigger improvement in a game from the first to the second Uncharted. They massively improved every aspect of the game.

This is true.
My issues go far beyond just the cutscenes.
Next on the list is always the partner system and random 10' 2x12 to help across gaps.

I've watched Nier but never played it.
Is the PC version any good or should I play the PS4 version. I seem to recall reading the PC port was a mess.
