CoD, exactly the same, but it's a $60 investment...new console, not the same. Those are introduced like once every 8-10 years and cost about $400-$500, the same price more or less than a new phone that comes out, what...once a year?
I just think it's funny that a lot of folks get all excited for this thing and then it turns out it bends in your pocket. I would think that was funny about anything, really.

I saw a 4K TV in Costco the other day and was amazed. But nothing is even shot in 4K...what's the use? Is there any media in 4K at all?

The most important part of 4k to me is that hopefully it will drive companies to offer more 1080 content since that's still not standard.

Here's my question. If you shoot videos in 4K on your phone, and I watch them on my poor mans 1080 phone, I will only see 1080 right?

i just dont see what 4K adds to 1080
i could see it being more useful on a computer monitor that you sit very close to, but on a living room TV....the pixels are far too small for me to see at normal viewing distance

I could tell in the motion and crispness of the picture. And it was a big TV, too...like 70" and curved (on purpose).

i sit at closest 6' from my 55" tv so I can't even fully benefit from 1080p
not to mention, i can't imagine sitting any closer than that
a 4K projector may be the only thing that would be worth it
eta: i should also mention that my vision sucks and I won't get full benefit of anything
