Im gonna advance within the hour.

This will probably be the last season until 13 so recruiting isn't really as necessary anymore

I wasn't saying you did buddy

I have no problem with it, normally I can counter what you were doing, but FAU does not have the talent to do that.... YET!

Here's an idea for next year:

user-user tournament. i'll make a bracket of the 8 or so active players. we play the games, and the winners get first priority in choosing their team in ncaa 13.

So basically what you're saying is that running a zone defense is not legit if a man you aren't controlling makes a play?

When I run a zone, I am relying on the cpu to put my players in certain places.

Running a zone defense =/= mastering the system imo

Running a zone defense

no not the point...running the zone with adjustments set the correct way is unstoppable, espcially if you get a lead..I'm not talking out my arse their are ways around this and dominating the system, there will always be it with any game...some just find it and stick to it..it will never be "real football"..a balanced attack of some sort..but like i said it is what it is...done is done..

The only zone adjustments I make are things like putting a spy on the qb and sometimes running pass committ. Sometimes slant the line, but rarely. I think you're giving me too much credit for being some sort of evil ai manipulating gamer.

Last night I cycled through a series of about 6 zone defenses for different looks and usually set a de to spy.

In all fairness, Longhorn did a hell of a lot better against the pass than Wildabeast. I think I threw for over 200 and missed on 2 long td passes that would've changed the game. Longhorn had me at 3-23 for 13 yards at one point. Zones are not unbeatable at all IMO. It is all about timing.

I don't run zones all the time though. I prefer man. I played man the first drive and he moved down the field and scored. I tried some zone and it worked, so I stayed with it.
