I bought a G, and it was a lot better, but I still had to hardwire. The G would cut out and it wasn't but 35-40 feet away through two walls.

Black,
Try this....If you have a wireless laptop handy, set it right next to the router and do a throughput test.
Then, go next to your PS3, and do the same. Compare the speeds. If they are similar, then you are getting intermittent instances of interference. (nice alliteration).
If they are way off, which is what I suspect, they your router just can't make it to your PS3.

hardwiring was the best decision i ever made. wireless is convenient but not very good for online play

No, I was talking about my laptop speeds. I can get up to 8/9 on the ps3.

We need to plan for a 3v3 or if you can, a 2v2v2.

unless you are playing team play, you can only have 4 players at once. we couldnt get the team play to work last night, not sure why

The only way to do 3v3 is the Ryder Cup mode. You cant choose alternate shot, or best ball etc. Only 2v2 can play those game types I believe. 2v2v2 isnt possible.

Cause he was my teammate last night when we lost.... and we are seeking revenge.
