Goddammit... another last-second loss; this time to UNLV, 34-31. fricking kick coverage let them run one back to the 30 with under :20, right after I scored to take the lead 31-27 with :26 left. Then, :05 left on the clock, a screen pass, two broken tackles, and a 10-yard game-winning touchdown.

Damn, that can't be the same team that almost beat me? What happenend since we played at the beginning of the season?

I have no idea dude.
I've got some quality offensive linemen just about wrapped up, a stud 4* receiver, and a 4* OLB that I'm battling Arizona for. This is the first week that he hasn't swapped the two of us in #1-2; I'm at #1 right now, so that's a good sign.
I'm reloading on defense right now because it's literally in shambles.
It also doesn't help that Bowie threw 5 interceptions, two of them were bullshite off tipped passes that got batted around several times.
It's hard to establish a pipeline at this school b/c New Mexico only produces 10-12 players for recruiting a season. Then, it's hard to just walk into another state and steal them away. Wyoming is going to have the same problem with recruiting I'm sure. If Martin or Smith or any of my good players want to transfer after this season, it's going to be a long stretch.
ETA: And those 10-12 players from New Mexico are mostly 1 and 2 *'s. There's usually one 4* and a 3*, maybe two 4*'s if I'm lucky.

I wouldn't go that far... I was 11-2 in the first season.
San Jose State is 5-2 and 3-0 in the WAC right now.
