Anyone playing this? I never bothered assuming it another generic MMO. But it’s essentially a very light “looter shooter” with 4 classes and has story and survival parts with new raids added. It’s hard to find someone to level the lower game with though so PSN TallPenguin88 if you’re into it

I have heard this game mode is really fun. I refused to go through the tutorials after having played the entire game so I have never tried it.

It’s not a tutorial per se on how play the game like the prologue. It is short vignette introducing you to the 4 classs and how they each play and their specials. You also don’t have all 4 stances you have gear slots and your weapon determines your stance though some have 2 I’ve seen but I’ve heard the relics have 4
You get two “ghost weapon” slots determined by gear load out I’ve only seen lower level ones but stuff like light heal or freeze enemies or throw dirt in their eye. Each one has a cool down special and each has one that requires 3 full resolution bars to use (3 is max). There’s the classic warrior class he can drain health, the assasin who plays most like main game Jin who can turn himself and anyone near him invisible for a bit, the hunter who I started with is the range dps, and the Ronin who is support that conjures a wolf to fight with him and his full resolution move revived everyone. You eventually unlock all 4 and have very interesting skill trees, all kinds of cosmetics, challenges, raids have been added
Plus it does have a story which ties into some people from the blue quest from the main game.

I’ve just started playing (not legends mode). I just cleared all of the southern portion of the island and took castle Kannada.
What is legends mode and when would it make sense for me to try it?

Ok firstly DEF finish the main game first before you legends. If you read my above post it kinda breaks things down a bit. It shakes a lot of things up in really exciting ways and is pretty flexible eventually giving you access to all 4 classes. There’s a story mode you can play through on bronze silver gold difficulty where obvs higher is harder and better loot. Yes this is a very very light looter. You don’t get drops you only get it st the end of missions you have a weapon a bow two “ghost weapons” and 2 charms. You’ll likely always only have access to one stance until you get better weapons but everything has perks like high chance to light on fire or shot like that. There’s also survival mode where you hold off waves of enemy’s and have to hold 3 different points to win you have to last 15 rounds with 3 boss rounds in there. Raids have been added but that’s like a ki score 105 and in 37 having beaten story mode on bronze and some survival. The story is nice for what it is and it ties in a lot of the people from the mythic quest from the main game. It’s axtually an extremely fresh and new interesting take on the games combat.
The combat arenas are nice, there’s some nice light puzzles and set pieces, and if you pair 2 classes right you can destroy. I played the hunter which is like bow ranged dps and when I matched with the assasin (the most class like jin) we destroyed. Alll 4 can still do basic things like assassinate, bow and arrow, sense vision.
And lastly if you just started act two my advice is stop and wait for August 20 pay the 19.99 and get the upgrade directors cut with alllll kinds of new content including a full new island takkng place around then
I’ll just finish on this regarding legends. There is 60$ of game here they completely added for free and continuously update

I would also say it’s significantly more difficult than the main game. You have to be very very good at parry and dodging. Perfec parry in particular is something you need to get great at all in stance you’re not comfortable using against that enemy type. One story mission has invisible enemies just pop right next to you in groups quickly. If you’re clever you can figure out these in game lanterns will show em but it’s not told to you
