I'd like to gather some of the blood for future use, and then use the hot barrel of my gun to seal up the wound.

Before you do that, I will remind you you did make a health option (though that health portion is fairly valuable)

Nah. I may need that later for either selling or using.

Ok, Garm seems to have gone into a coma below decks while all this was happening due to chronic masturbation. Maybe he will wake up or maybe he won’t.

Rotgut, your burning your wound closed? I’ll let you roll for that to see how it goes. But then what are your next steps.

20 sided die? I got a dang 19.

I tell everyone to calm down. The captain clearly shot me first and I fired back in self defense. Then I loot him.

Ok, then first, roll a D4 dice to decide how much HP you regain.

As to calming the crew down, I’ll let you roll a D20. You stated you want them to understand you were going to be killed. Unfortunately, no one in the 1700s will see this as anything other than mutiny on your part. This will definitely get out and the British will definitely put a death mark on your head.

But I will say, you probably do have friends on the crew who are sympathetic to your plight a who might be encouraged to help you out. So I want a better explanation of how you will approach the crew.

Depending on your roll, you can loot the captain’s corpse. Even if you don’t persuade them, maybe you move too quick for them to notice. However with bad roll, they will stop you from looting the corpse.

Just walking into church. I'll come up with a better explanation later today.

All good. I will ask for a roll on the loot table but not yet. I am out of town and my rule book is back home.

I got AI to help me with a speech.

quote:

I didn’t plan to kill the captain.
He raised the whip — I chose to live.

You all know what the whip means. Today it was me. Tomorrow it could’ve been any one of you.

I stood my ground because I’m loyal to this crew, not to leather and fear.

Kill me if you must — but remember who’s bled, brewed, and fought to keep you alive.

I didn’t betray the crew.
I stayed loyal to it.

I'm sure this will be the roll where I end up with like a 2 or something.

Roll a D100 for loot.

Also, the crew is divided. Per law, you have committed mutiny and your life is forfeit. But with the captain dead, there is no captain and as tradition in more unsavory locals, the crew votes for the next captain. And wouldn’t you know it, the crew voted for you by the slimmest of margins. Some of the crew including the former first mate storm off and you know you have to leave Nassau immediately if you want to live

yep, didn't see that coming. Thanks to all who stood by me! No more whippings!

Man my luck is going to fall hard one of these days, but I just rolled a 98.

You find on the captain a dried flower. It is a remarkable looking flower you’ve never seen or heard of before.

You see commotion on the docks. The soldiers are walking towards your ship. What do you do

I tell the men it's time to go! Let's get this boat out to sea! Seems like they should be able to make this happen quickly since they were already leaving today before the former captain tried to kill me.

Interesting. Is there anyone on the ship who may know what this is?

You think maybe Garm may know what the flower is but he’s too busy going catatonic from furiously masturbating below deck.

Unless I really messed up, that is not the case at all. I think I said this ship was planning on staying in Nassau through the storm season. It was all those other ships you walked by that were planning on leaving.

Leaving now would mean your drastially undersupplied and undercrewed. But you can make do

Yep you're correct. How many soldiers are coming up to the boat?

Would prefer not to do this, but also don't want to get the men into a fight with a bunch of soldiers. What are my options?

You have to leave. To many other soldiers, there is a British naval ship as I mentioned before that given enough time can be used. There’s probably a fort nearby. You are a criminal who’s going to be worth a bounty. There’s no chance you can stay.

However, you think you have 5 minutes to get her supplies from the docks. Toll a D20 and I can say that result is how many days of supplies you have. But you have to go.

And once you leave port, you have to hightail it somewhere. But you need a plan. You’re the captain. If you’re not confident, they’ll mutiny against you. I really want you to think of what you want to do next. Do research.

Guess this is where my luck ran out. I rolled a 9.

Given our 9 days of supplies, and based on my quick research here, I think our best course of action would be to head south through the waters between Haiti and Cuba and stop at Port Royal, Jamaica for supplies, with my current thought to then set up shop in Barbados to decide our next move. Maybe a better idea will pop up in Port Royal though.
