I happen to like his insights and views on the gaming world and FEZ was a great game. Not sure why he is so hated.

I think he just takes his art very seriously. I doubt he would actually kill himself. Mogwai said the same thing before they released Young Team, if it didn't do well.

I understand that, it was just a bit extreme for me. also he needs to shave his fricking face. His facial hair is just bad
