I know you are. That's why I said that.
BTW, one of the places I buy stuff from has a Titan coming up for auction. It says salvaged but I am tempted to buy it and see if I can reflow it. Only thing is I watched two 690's go for $500-$600 today but they were returns and not salvaged and people pay more for returns.
If the Titan is cheap enough I may jump on it and roll the dice.

Here is the deal. Both of those mobos each had a bent socket pin or two and were never hooked up due to this. They both still have the protective plastic on them actually.
I am sending them to ASRock and they will fix it or just send me new boards. Turn around time is going to be about 2 weeks for everything. The boards are still brand new outside of that. Think about it and make me an offer.

When that now staple magnesium cooler came on the 690s at first, there was nothing like it!
Look how beautiful that damn card was!

Get a daytime job like the rest of the world!

So you are selling both the boards, not just the first?
I also would be totally off on trying to give you a non-offensive offer. I really have no clue how to evaluate what would be fair to both of us. I would rely on your evaluation more than mine.
I just want a setup that will age gracefully with the 7970 I purchased. It would be nice to have them be the same caliber to maximize each.

Oh it's nice no doubt.
My thinking is that even if I can't reflow that Titan I can sell it on Ebay as salvaged and get most of my money back. People there are dumb.
I am so excited to get my rework station in this week!
I also bought a BIOS programmer today and ordered some SIP and PLCC chips though I think most MOBOs are using SIP. If people get boards that won't post I can program a chip and send it to them to try out.

Awesome, can't wait for results. Hopefully you can fix some stuff up.
Look into EVBot mods and EVGA EPower. I want them on my Titans.

dude, I know but listen to this.
Friday night:
5pm: Start working.
7pm-8pm:lunch.
9pm: finish working.
9-5am: fricked around on my phone, sat around in the office, and literally went out into the wilderness of the warehouse and rode around on a forklift and looked for stuff to do because I was so bored.
The pay me money to have fun and to do whatever I want.

Everything I have is for sell, AU. Including what's left of my dignity.
Let's do this then since this is new to me as well as far as getting boards swapped out with ASRock. Let me get the turn around taken care of (like I said it's about two weeks) and see if they repair or replace. If it's repair then I can sell either one to you cheaper.
That's all assuming you are willing to wait a few weeks.
ETA: I am thinking like $180-$200 on that first link and around $150-$165 on the second one.

Push more volts to the core for higher clocks.

Sounds like a plan. I have waited this long. No worries in waiting longer.

I added an edit on what I am thinking price wise.

You better pay someone with insurance to do that and don't ask me. I just want to fix stuff I buy to resale that way if I frick it up I chunk it and don't have to answer to anyone.
