Not "Steam" certified. This is GameStream, unrelated to SteamBox. GameStream is part of NVidia's new "Shield," a portable gaming device that streams over the network from your gaming PC. NVidia is notorious for aggressively marketing its technology with branding and exclusivity agreements. Although in this case it's NVidia using its own branding power to profit from the router manufacturers.
There are basic bandwidth requirements that your router will need in order to have a playable gaming experience streamed over a network, and so it makes sense as a router manufacturer to want your higher end routers to have that stamp of approval by NVidia. So basically, it's the bandwidth specs that matter, unless NVidia does something underhanded to disable GameStream over any router that didn't pay for NVidia's stamp of approval.

What do I think of nVidia shield?
Awesome, but never purchased because I much rather game at my desk. I do absolutely love the idea and think it to be useful for some user set ups.
FYI, stay away from IGN. They have some very misinformed/uninformed writers when it comes to hardware and tech. Only their game reviews are probably decent.

I read ign a lot but ignore their tech completely. Will YouTube 4k still look like crap because of their compression like everything does now? I never trust YouTube for detailed things like that or game graphics.

Yeah, I love some of their game articles but fckk, their tech writers are terrible. Usually it is spun wrong or they are really late and out of date.

I feel like they need some people to specialize in pc gaming. The odd thing is a lot of their editors say they game primarily on pc but they don't talk about it a lot. People bitch about their scores but they are what they are. They explain them better in their videos and they do a good job in their podcasts.

What Fractal case do you have again? The Define R4 should fit 120 and 140, they have 2 separate holes for both.
Srry to hear about the 140. I should have known and not cheaped out of shipping in just a bubble envelope of $6 bucks. I do have a few Corsair SP120s I can send you. They have the White, Blue or Red ring.

They don't line up but the fans you sent say R2 on them so I think they are for the fractal r2.

I went to GameStop this morning to purchased SuperMarioBros2 for 3DS and picked up a used 3DS for $99 also. So I'm good now. So walked out with a 3DS and not the game because GameStop was out of stock.

My next... MONITORS, purchasing 2 for the setup. Screw 2160 and their problems right now, i'm staying with 1440.
I will purchase 2 if the monitor can go into portrait mode. Looks like the stand can not from this picture though.
..but then again, ASUS is suppose to release a 28" monitor @ 2160 and 144Htz for a low $799.
These are ALL with G-Sync!

That has pretty much the same stand that my vg248qe. Unless it's taller, portrait mode won't work. Mine only allows an inch of clearance in portrait mode.
