Yea I can't see myself upgrading anytime soon. Only thing I'd be changing is to a Z series Mobo and better cooler

My 8700k and 2080 should be Gucci for a while

GTA3 is old enough to vote now. That makes me feel so old.

Based solely on the score I found on Spotify, it seems to be a very diverse game.

Salem
White Ring
Pastel Ghost

Good groups.

I do appreciate actual good music, but they don't feed my disturbing need to feel dark. Yes it is ghey, I'm aware.

I'm a simple person who wants to feel complex. Sucks growing up in the early 2000s, I still want to be emo even now.

The Cure are awesome in every facet of the game. Robert Smith is an excellent guitar player too. Plus, the ladies love them.

Yeah I agree.

Guess my response had something lost in translation due to text.

Edt: Robert Smith does the vocals on one track of my favorite group, Crystal Castles.

I was a huge fan of Robert Smith in my yutes. But he is soo mainstream, just like Joy Division. (Jokes)

You know what got me into The Cure?

Was a line from Brand New's song Mix Tape, "and the way you always criticize the Smiths and Morrissey".

It sort of lead me to The Cure.

Edt2: Thanks for controlling me in the Xbox thread. Boredom before bed is a killer.

You are my age right? (roughly)

Did you go to Warped back in the day?

I remember doing that Houston, Dallas and San Antonio triangle for Warped. Being in HS and right out, so damn broke. Everyone in 1 vehicle and living off 25cent bag of chips for those 2 weeks every summer.

Joy Division's Unknown Pleasures just celebrated it's 40 birthday last week. That album still kills it. Plus, there is a ton of lore behind it.

That's cool a song turned you on to that shite. I got lucky.

My older brother and his wife are in their late 40s/early 50s and live in Chicago She's from there, he isn't. They have been in the waxtrax goth industrial scene forever. They're how I found kmfdm and ministry when I was probably 10 or 11.

Atlanta for me.

Yeah, I only went to one and it was '05, I think.

Flogging Molly, AFI, From Autumn to Ashes, AntiFlag, Bad Religion. There were a lot more, I just don't remember.

Love those bands.

But for me it was Senses Fail and Atreyu. Straight emo scene kid.

'05 or '06 was the last I went to Warped.

I've been wanting to post an old pic here. It's of me in with long dyed black hair, lip ring and Air Force Ones. Straight scene, total fckking cringe.

Joy Division's Unknown Pleasures

I love to tell stories, one more for you.

So here is how I got into Joy Division.

Donnie Darko
YouTube: Donnie Darko - Love Will Tear Us Apart (can't find better quality, sorry)

I'll let you find the connections unless you already know.

Edr: Guess not a story. Going to bed.
