From what I could hear your own footsteps didn’t sound loud at all.

For those worried about KB/M vs Controller, Shroud has a 1.00 K/D vs a controller player with a 3.00 K/D

Aim assist on or off for the controller guys?
Oh that was Shroud's first time playing, okay now that makes sense.
Was about to say, controller has no chance.

Controllers will have aim assist. It’s only fair.
ETA: controllers on PC will have aim assist as well.

That's what I meant. Lame.
Can't compare someone getting help from the game to aim and someone using pure skill.
Back to the Halo waiting game.

The only time you’d play with a console person though is when you have one in your party. It’s all based on inputs.
Still, controllers need a boost to narrow the skill gap. It’s obvious M/KB are superior to controllers. There’s no way a controller can match the precision of a M/KB.

Right, they just shouldn't ever play together but for some reason a few keep trying to force it.
At least it's only if you already have one in your party.

Idk if I agree with that. Yea your aim may be a little more accurate with KBM but almost every other movement based mechanic is way easier to control on controller. If KBM was better for COD then some of the pros would have asked to use KBM a while ago. Some pros actually got asked about this and straight up said that the best KBM COD player in the world wouldn’t even be close to the skill level of the best COD controller player in the world.

And this is when I leave the Call of Duty thread.

K big shot. Are you suggesting that pressing keys is more fluid than moving a joystick?
Posted on 8/1/19 at 11:59 pm to Terrific Tales
I would say that using a mouse is more like using your index finger. It’s just easier to place it on someone’s head in game. Try doing that with a thumb. It doesn’t feel natural. Key bindings are no different than the buttons on a controller. Those are all based on muscle memory.
The mouse trumps a joystick. It’s just faster and more precise.

I think what the pro players mean when they say the controller is more fluid is the spacing of buttons and how easy it is to go from button to button. For example I would much rather flick a joystick back and forth to jiggle peak than hit my arrow keys or a and d. I just think some of the advanced movement mechanics, especially the ones we have had in recent futuristic coda, are way easier to do on controller. Hitting a key to sprint is also something I have heard pro cod players say makes playing on controller better. It’s whatever. I appreciate that IW is trying to make the game truly playable on PC and that the controls seem to be working well, but in terms of COD you are really selling controllers short if you don’t think they can keep up. Cod is about more than just aiming. Also this is more of a feel thing but it feels way better shooting my gun with an actual trigger than with my mouse.

I mean I definitely can’t. I’m trash at games.
I’ve seen pros snap like that on controller though.
Let’s just go back to talking about the game. I really don’t care which is viewed as better for COD between KBM and controller.
