dude I'm seriously tired of Farkus getting in my way when we are in this dungeon. He's jumped in front of me twice now and both times i accidently hit him with fire then he turned on em and killed me. boom, start over again.
cool

companions can be a pain sometimes, I quit using them about level 10.
Posted on 11/19/11 at 6:55 pm to DoUrden
well i dont really have a choice on this one
also, why do i have full health sometimes and a fricking regular dude will hit me once and i die. other times i can get hit 20 times and not die
it really doesn't make any sense

Anyone buy and fully upgrade Proudspire Manor yet? All I can say is that house is fricking awesome! I'm actually not going to take any of the ingredients or other things away because it looks so nice and organized.
Plus, they have book shelves that automatically place them, as well as mannequins and weapon racks that display things you don't use.

Just bought the house in Riften. Probably should have saved up for Proudspire.
I've got the money to buy it but I'm working on about 30 quests in my journal at the moment.

Some areas are scaled to your level while other areas will be scaled to when you first passed by them at a much lower level.
So you can have one battle that is a piece of cake only to be annihilated two feet away in a different zone.

I'm just not looking forward to moving everything from my old house to the new one.

why is it so hard to find shite in this game? like someone tells me to go kill the leader of embershard and i go to embershard mine and there is nothing there. I kill everyone and i still have someone to kill. I am walking around for 30 minutes looking for him but nothing.
what am i doing wrong?
wow right when i posted that i found a lever haha

Make sure you have the quest activated and it puts a little white arrow on who you need to kill.
Also, use the map. You can pull up a smaller map for the immediate area by pressing a certain button on the larger map.

i have been using the map and the last quest i was on it was just a dumb mistake on my part to not find what i was looking for.
however, there are times when you are looking for something that is not a quest(like just looking for someone in town) and there is no sort of hint where they are at. it just says their name and you are suppose to walk around until you happen across them? anyway, I don't want to seem like i'm complaining about the game, it's actually a good thing it frustrates me so much

If you are PC there is an option using the console that will make it easy and as soon as you have moved you can change it back.

Did you buy all the upgrades? How beautiful is that?
It's probably the most in love I've ever been with a video game house.

Yep, it's nice having the enchanting table in the house. The castle in Oblivion was great.

Does Lydia stay at the house in Whiterun or does she move too?

SPOILER
If you are on the PC when you get to the point that you are ready to do it, there is a console command that takes you to a room with that holds EVERY item in the game. I have looked at it on my 2nd toon, but my original is untouched by cheats.

Holy crap. That is a crazy cheat. Sounds like it wouldn't be fun though.
